AinslieCo Limited is a private investment company based in the United Kingdom. We take long-term stakes in technology businesses — and we build the software they need to grow, in house.
The company
Most holding companies are good at capital and poor at context. We are set up the other way round: a small balance sheet, and the technical judgement to know what we are buying and what it will take to make it better.
That judgement comes from building. Our studio works inside the portfolio companies — designing platforms, shipping product, and keeping systems running — so the people who own the business also understand the code behind it.
The same bench is available to a small number of new clients who need software built properly and then maintained by people who stay.
